snookerSnooker perfectionist, Ronnie O’Sullivan, completed an amazing tie against fellow professional Mark Williams in the World Snooker Championship by knocking in a maximum 147 break. Considered one of his best, the Rocket’s maximum was his 3rd at the Crucible out of the 7 in all time history. The total prize fund he has received for the three 147 frames of snooker is £491,000. That works out at over £4,500 for each of the 108 balls potted!

The feat takes O’Sullivan’s max break total to 9 in professional competitions making him top of the all time list, one ahead of Stephen Hendry. With the talent that he has, it is easy to see him taking this tally well into double figures and securing his place as one of the best break builders of all time.
